Every TUESDAY is Token Tuesday! Come in for a beer, we’ll donate $1 to your local beneficiary of choice. See this month’s beneficiaries here.
Every THURSDAY is Trivia on Tap! Voted Best of the ‘Boat by locals, the game is from 6 to 8 p.m. We fill up – get here early!
SUNDAY, MARCH 22: This is the final Ski Free/ Sip Free/ Snack Free Sunday! After skiing for free at Howelsen Hill’s Closing Day, bring your day pass over to Mountain Tap and receive a free pint or free cauldron of popcorn!
SUNDAY, APRIL 5: We’re springing up a fun celebration, Keg in an Egg! For every beer ordered, guests can pick a plastic egg from the egg basket. Inside each egg may be jelly beans, chocolates, gift certificates for retail items, free beer cards or more. One special egg will contain a certificate for a 1/6th barrel keg of Mountain Tap beer, to be redeemed at guests’ convenience! Free plastic eggs with treats will also be available for kids. More info here.
FRIDAY, APRIL 10: Prickly Pedal Tapping Party! Mountain Tap Brewery and local cycling advocacy group Routt County Riders collaborated to brew a springtime beer named Prickly Pedal, and it will be tapped up at 3 p.m. Prickly Pedal was brewed with prickly pear cactus fruit, a nod to the desert-recreation season that annually jumpstarts just as Colorado ski areas close down. Live bluegrass music will be provided by Morningside String Band from 5 to 8 p.m. Throughout the afternoon and evening of the tapping party, Routt County Riders will be on-hand to provide cycling, trail and membership information. Mountain Tap Brewery will donate $1 from every pint of Prickly Pedal sold to Routt County Riders, and anyone who joins or renews their RCR membership will receive a free pint of Prickly Pedal. Prickly Pedal is packaged seasonally, and 6-packs of the beer will be for sale starting the night of the party.
SUNDAY, APRIL 12 THROUGH SUNDAY, APRIL 26: We’re closing up shop for spring cleaning and fun. We reopen on MONDAY, APRIL 27, at 3 p.m. for the summer!
