Here’s what’s going on at Mountain Tap as we launch into fall!
Every MONDAY is ½-Price Growler Night. Bring in your growler jug (or purchase one for $8), we’ll top it off for ½-price! Drink the best variety of fresh to-go beer at home and reduce waste with your reusable packaging!
Every TUESDAY is Token Tuesday! Come in for a beer, we’ll donate $1 to your local beneficiary of choice. See this month’s beneficiaries here.
Every FIRST & THIRD WEDNESDAY is Joggers & Lagers! These biweekly noncompetitive social fun runs start and end at Mountain Tap. Professional trail runner David Norris provides two routes: an easy jaunt and a more challenging run. Check in at Mountain Tap at 6 p.m. to learn the route and receive a free beer or soda ticket to redeem after the run. (Upcoming runs: 9/16, 10/7 and 10/21. (Check out the most current route here. Every THURSDAY is Trivia on Tap! Voted Best of the ‘Boat by locals year after year, the game is from 6 to 8 p.m. We fill up – get here early!
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13… High Country Response will celebrate its 10th anniversary at Mountain Tap! OHANA will be on-hand with a live T-shirt print, and live music will be provided by Apple Pie from 4-7 pm. More info here. The event is open to the public. Come celebrate with High Country Response, a local organization that supports first responders and the community they serve.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 is Town Hall’s Back to Snow Garage Sale. The Winter Gear Launch event from 4:30-7:30 pm will feature a live T-shirt print with OHANA, kids’ activities, free Mountain Tap mini Routt Beer Floats and deep discounts on Town Hall Gear, all while raising funds for Yampatika! SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11 is the 2nd annual Best Day Ever Community Gathering and Fundraiser from 3-8 pm. It’s a celebration of our incredible community and a fundraiser for the Best Day Ever Fund, a donor-advised fund held by the Yampa Valley Community Foundation, set up in memory of Pete Van De Carr. The fest will feature LIVE MUSIC by Best Day Ever Band, Steamboat Allstars and Denver-based Jerry Garcia Band tribute BreadBox; door prizes & silent auction; the return of Best Day IPA with all proceeds going to the Best Day Ever Fund, and more! SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17 we’re tapping up this year’s ReTree Spruce IPA, brewed to celebrate Western Resilience Center‘s ReTree tree-planting program, now in its 17th year! This refreshing IPA was conditioned with Colorado-grown spruce tips, and $1 from every Spruce IPA will be donated to Western Resilience Center.
