Here’s what’s going on at Mountain Tap in June!
Every MONDAY is Music Monday! As town quiets down from the weekend, kick off the week with live local music on the Mountain Tap patio from 5-7 pm. View the lineup here. Monday is also ½-Price Growler Night. Bring in your growler jug (or purchase one for $8), we’ll top it off for ½-price! Drink the best variety of fresh to-go beer at home and reduce waste with your reusable packaging!
Every TUESDAY is Token Tuesday! Come in for a beer, we’ll donate $1 to your local beneficiary of choice. See this month’s beneficiaries here.
Every FIRST & THIRD WEDNESDAY is Joggers & Lagers! These biweekly noncompetitive social fun runs start and end at Mountain Tap. Professional trail runner David Norris provides two routes: an easy jaunt and a more challenging run. Check in at Mountain Tap at 6 p.m. to learn the route and receive a free beer or soda ticket to redeem after the run. (Upcoming runs: 6/3, 6/17, 6/24 <bonus run!>, 7/1, 7/15, 8/5, 8/19, 9/2, 9/16, 10/7 and 10/21. (Check out the most current route here. You may need to refresh your view.)
Every THURSDAY is Trivia on Tap! Voted Best of the ‘Boat by locals year after year, the game is from 6 to 8 p.m. We fill up – get here early!
FRIDAY, JUNE 5: Batch 800 Tapping Party! We’re tapping up our 800th batch of beer, an Italian Pilsner! We collaborated with our buddy Agostino Arioli from Birrificio Italiano in the region of Lombardy to create this crisp pilsner , which has a delicate malt body and a bright, aromatic floral punch.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10: Come by and chat with an incredible group of college students who are biking across the country for Alzheimer’s. Bike4Alz is a student run non-profit organization where each summer, a group of 12 undergraduate students from Kentucky bicycle across the country from San Francisco to Virginia Beach to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s Research. This summer they’re bicycling through Steamboat and we’re lucky enough to host them! Info on their journey here.
FRIDAY, JUNE 19: It’s the first Steamboat Free Summer Concert at Howelsen Hill, and Mountain Tap is your pre- and post-party spot! Stop in on your way to show to fuel up. Then cross the 9th Street Bridge afterward and look for our neon sign beacon as a place to finish off your night!
FRIDAY – SUNDAY, JUNE 26-28: It’s SBT GRVL Weekend, and Mountain Tap is right at the epicenter of all the action! Check out the expo Friday and Saturday afternoons and the main event race on Sunday, then stop in to refuel at Mountain Tap. SBT GRVL Riders: Mountain Tap is providing the finisher party beer again this year! Cheers to that!

SATURDAY, JULY 4: It’s the Fourth of July! We open at 11 a.m., just after the downtown parade, and we’ll be pouring Passionate Beermosas all day – imagine our Passionate Pedal passionfruit wheat ale topped with a splash of OJ. Yum!
TUESDAY, JULY 7: Holy cow, it’s Mountain Tap’s 10th Anniversary Party! We’ll tap up 7-7 Anniversary Haze. Local favorite band Worried Men will play jam band, classic rock and bluegrass music. Specialty anniversary glassware will be for sale, and we’ll be debuting our latest merch addition – a T-shirt with Mountain Tap inspired artwork created by Emily at OHANA! Thanks to all our loyal regulars who have supported us for a decade now!
